I don't know what i would do without Nurse Stevens being there for my daughter. She is not only there to give her her medicine, she also really cares for my daughter and keeps her safe and well. She is so loving and caring and treats the children like she is another mum to them all. i can honestly say that i don't know how i would manage without her

Absolutely ridiculous, who else can they go to if they are feeling ill, the teachers wont want to know when the students start telling them they feel ill, and they wont be able to supervise them if they are sick.

MCS NURSE IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE SCHOOL, our family personally have relied on her talents and knowledge on a number of occasions. When next a child has severe breathing problems who is going to be there to help out until a parent or paramedic arrives???

MCS's Nurse is an invaluable member of staff - for students past present & future. She must not be let go.

Our children deserve to have a school nurse to keep them well and to let them know they can go there to be safe.

Please, even if you don't go to the school just click one button and sign. The school nurse maybe just a teacher to some but for me and others she was a lifesaver. She helped save a lot of us from ourselves. If she wasn't there for the support she gave and understanding I honestly don't know where I'd be today. This women deserves more than a job she deserves a medal for going beyond her job description.

The nurse should not be made redundant she was the only person when I was in magdalen that got my through my years at school, she is the nicest nurse and person I have never met. You should not choose out of all people to make her redundant I am so angry this is happening!

Making the school nurse redundant I as do many other parents feel it's the wrong move. To date my daughters have not needed the nurse for anything serious but who know when they might. I know that student who have to have prescribed medication go to the nurse. Who will now do this? Having trained first aid staff is Ok for minor thing but will this cover them for everything. Why are all these members of staff losing their jobs? Is this now because MCS became an academy they do what they want and play god!

I completely understand there is an issue with budgets, but making the school nurse redundant is not the way forward. What will happen to all the students who need regular medication? Nurse Stevens is a godsend and is definitely a necessary member of staff.
Save the school nurse.
