Nurse Stevens is so important to the school, she supports so many students. If she goes who is going to see us if we are poorly or ill ? Do the teachers have to do that as well as teach ?

Nurse Stevens is the only good thing about that school in my opinion, she was the only person i could talk too and that would ever return a call, if they loose her they loose a lot more than just the school nurse

Nurse Stevens has been an excellent "non teaching" member of the pastoral care side of the school. Education is about more than facts and figures, and children have medical and other needs for support which teachers while they may have the skills do not have time in addition to their primary role of teaching to perform.

My 3 boys all went thru MCS all now in their 20''s in fact one nearly 30 . School nurse was always brilliant especially when we had 2 broken arms . Every school needs a good nurse.

I believe having a nurse at a secondary school is an absolutely essential for the welfare and safety of our children lots of children have life threatening illness eg asthma etc and surely money should not be an issue where our kids lives are involved.
