Not a good move. My reasoning for moving my children into Abbeville County to begin with. Classroom sizes we're smaller than any surrounding districts. Not to mention the individual educational learning experience that can be benefical from a more smaller classroom. Smaller classrooms has been proven to be more engaging for students. Increasing the classroom size will be difficult for students and teachers. It's perfect the way it is now!

Dixie should be a 1a school. Our kids work very hard for their success. It would not be fair competition to place them in a larger bracket. Is this an underhanded way to force us to agree to consolidate schools? Ridiculous!!!

As a former athlete at Dixie, this is the worst move that could be made, playing against teams like abbeville with stocked rosters and just better competition could be very demoralizing to the players.

Dixie always had trouble competiting against other 1A schools. Moving them up will only drag them down!! Our softball team seems to be about the only sturdy team there is at Dixie!!! I vote NO. Plus, LOL, Dixie doesn't even look big enough to move up. I've seen elementary schools carry more kids.

I feel that moving Dixie to 2A is not a good move! They never have had enough players. On the football team to have an offense and a defense! This will not be good for the young me that play both sides of the line! This could cause many, many injuries!

Plz plz put Dixie back in 1 A. Our kids will get discouraged playing against these schools we have to play This is ridiculous. School. District should put a stop to lettting kids from Abbeville come to Dixie. Why do y'all do that I guess y'all trying to get that one high school in one way or the other just forcing it on innocent. Kids Whoever is behind this needs to stop

We have finally got a team that can compete at the 1A level and if we have to go up to 2A it will devastate our guys. They have been trying so hard to get ready for the season , please don't ruin it for them. They are not prepared to play teams like Abbeville, Batesburg, etc. who have much more kids to choose for on their teams. Please give this you consideration .

I don't believe it's far to the players of the team or to the community of Due West. The team is headed in the right direction in the 1A conference so why ruin equal opportunity and competition for the kids.
