That's ridiculous.. It seems like they're trying every way possible to put an end to Dixie High School. It breaks my heart.

This is going to discourage our students from playing sports. We are too small to compete with these power houses. Please do some research into the sports program. In football, I don't think we even have enough players to have on offense and defense. Many play both sides of the ball. This could very well increase injuries to our players. This decision needs to be re-evaluated. This could hurt our players emotionally and physically. I personally wouldn't want to be responsible for that.

Proud graduate of DHS. This would not be acceptable for our children and grandchildren. They can not fairly compete with larger schools.

Come on, really, Dixie is a great school with great administration, staff and students. But, it's only so big and there's no room for growth. But, for one reason or another it seems students continuously want to transfer to Dixie. While that is all and good, there has to be a stop put to it somewhere. What monetary benefits does Dixie accure by becoming a 2 A school? Please don't do this to Dixie. We like are school and athletics just the way they are!
