I can't imagine a better Principal for any school, not just Oxbow. Chris has been one of the most helpful and understanding people in my sons elementary education and if he has devoted just a fraction of the time he has spent with my son with other students I know those parents would feel the same way.

Chris is an exceptional person, period. Our children are lucky to have a principal who cares so much.
If the voice of the parents goes to the wind and is given no consideration in this matter i feel we should RECALL the school board memebers and remove them along with the Superintendent. (Paul Salah (248) 684-8244) By the way Mr Salah why are you hiding, why are you not readily available to meet with the Oxbow community.
Chris has brought us all together and has made Oxbow an excellent environment for our children to grow and gain life skills, to build self esteem, and become excellent people.
Secrecy and going behind our backs Mr. Salah will be met with great resistance and WE the PEOPLE hold more power then you give us credit for.

I’m a former student of Chris’, and I’m not sure what is happening and why some are trying to remove him as principal but you’d be making a big mistake letting him go!

We loved Chris I thought he is a great educator and very inspiring teacher my daughter had him twice in her time at Oxbow.

The fact that the school board would do this to him without informing the parents and even trying to keep it quiet is very disturbing. What else is the board keeping from its parents? If the board is willing to do this to Chris, then maybe it’s time for a new school board, since they obviously don’t want to be transparent or even seem to care about the quality of education for the kids.

Change is inevitable but forced change is usually met with resistance. Chris has gradually brought everyone together to make the awesome community/family feel that we have at Oxbow. Without an explanation for his removal I feel that there will be a severe loss of voluntary involvement from the oxbow families. You have the right person for the job right in front of you. Don't make a mistake that could sink Oxbow. We've come a long way together & it would be a shame to fall backwards. Please keep Chris & or at least give a valid explanation. We deserve that much.

Best man, person, teacher & principal I know. My kids spent 9 years there & we were not happy with the leaders during that time; & it took forever to have the 2nd one moved (she was not someone who should have been in an elementary school ever) & we were so thrilled for the students there when Mr. McAuliffe was made principle. Not sure who is on the witch hunt here, but it has got to stop. He is exactly where he should be....

This would be an enormous set back for oxbow if they are to dismiss Chris. I have been apart of this school for over 20 years and he is by far the best it’s ever had.
