Please dont take away my favorite beach of all time! All my child hood memories would be demolished along side the destruction of Cromwells. Instead, relinquish all rights to this place and make it a free for all. If anyone gets hurt, its there fault and no one else is to blame. Please! This place literally brings happiness to so many people. Its the one place people can come to and release all of their stress and just have a good time. Please!!!

I grew up on Black Point Road. 4136. My father still lives there. I was Doris Duke's paper boy. Knew her well. Growing up in this neighborhood, I've witnessed the disrespect for the area, however, the fence has discouraged jumping and - - what's more - - the crowds have diminished greatly. The area is recovering. Please don't try to "fix" something that isn't broken. Give the new measures time to establish themselves. Gone are the ladders, cigarette butts and environmentally ignorant youth.

This Diamond Head landmark is a part of Oahu's nostalgic history! There are other ways of protecting the public, insuring their safety and preserving this beautiful basin without destroying this natural habitat and native, endangered Hawaiian species. My vote, as a local, Hawaii resident, is SAVE CROMWELL'S SWIM BASIN for us and for FUTURE GENERATIONS to use and enjoy! Mahalo, Sharrel Souza.
