No! Leave the breakwater alone. Shorelines in Hawaii (except for military owned property) are PUBLIC property. If someone hurts themselves at the Doris Duke harbor, they can not sue anyone. The Cromwells are not liable for people hurting themsleves while surfing at Kaikos or hurting themsleves on the reef in front of their proerty because... it is PUBLIC (governement owned) property. Maybe because the breakwater is a man made structure the Cromwells are liable? I’m not an attorney so I don’t know for sure.

Please stop taking down the environmental walls. It will change the landscape forever and it will destroy anything in the path ! I.E the Shangrila house will go down! What’s the reason for taking down the wall? Not a good idea!

THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO DISREGARD THE "NO JUMPING" WARNING NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS, NOT THE DORIS DUKE ESTATE. ****SAVE THE 'POOL'***

If the reason to dismantle this area is due to people jumping from the fence, please address “that” issue, and do not destroy this beautiful lagoon as a solution.

I see no purpose for demolishing the swimming area. A lot of people get great use out of it. If anything a permit should be provided to provide easier access.

This is a gorgeous part of Hawaii and a piece of history and there is no reason to destroy it and keep Hawaii people from. Enjoying its beauty. Please rethink this idea.

I've gone here since I was a child! And we still do nearly every Sunday with our dog. It's one of our favorite spots on the island. Please don't take this away from the local people of Hawaii. It would be such a tragedy to ruin this historic spot.

Please don't destroy this wonderful spot. There is nothing you can do to improve it. Remembering the old International M assrket Place.

Do not destroy the beautiful and healthy ecosystem by tearing down the wall. Keep the spot the same. It is HISTORY and provide a great ecosystem Save it for future generations, it is a beautiful essential piece of the story of Doris Duke. Destroying it destroys the integrity of the entire site and her story.
