Good luck, stupid planning decision, you have to drive anywhere in Shetland so not a legitimate decision. Love Italian food

I live in the south end, and have to drive 25 miles for takeaways, shopping. and cinema. Cant see what difference it would make to drive that few extra miles to visit Henry's restaurant. I for one enjoy italian food which Shetland lacks. Good luck Henry.

There is not an authentic pizza place in Shtland. It would be good to hae a new restaurant up north. It is less than 30 mins from Lerwick and Scalloway. Aswell as being on the main road and close toBrae and Voe.

What possible reason could there be to refuse permission to a new venture (how many Italian restaurants are there to compete with?) that will provide employment in a rural area?

I live in Brae, and to eat in Lerwick's newest eatery I had to drive to get there.

I support this investment into Shetland's rural area, accessible to many due to its location on one of Shetland's main travel routes.

I would show the planners a map of Shetland and say if you lived at point A and would like to eat out at point B how would you get there on a dark windy night. I would love to know how they would get there

While the decision may be following guidance, it doesn't recognise how the guidance isn't appropriate to the situation and hopefully it will be overturned at appeal.
