Our culture is not to be taught by someone that doesn’t know what our culture means so keep The Beach Boys for life.

Please don’t take away such a beautiful thing on the island. For someone just there for $$. That’s not what it’s about

A former resident of Oahu who took her first surf lesson from a Waikiki Beach Boy. Disgraceful. And Dive Oahu if you are going to come in and wipe out a culture and these icons and way of life - shame on you. You are well aware what your language suggests.

I know what it means to be a beach boy even though i didn’t do it to make a living but during summer vacations I know the struggles and the excitement! A tradition like that should not be over taken by corporations or big company’s! I have visited the main island and learned to surf her waters just like thousands of tourist Before me!! Don’t let payouts ruin a good thing!

Keep Hawaii Hawaiian. This isn’t Disneyland, it’s Waikiki.

Been on island for a year, and being white wasn't raised in this culture. But there is a premise. When you think Hawaii and surfing you don't think neatly dressed people who haven't been out on the water.
