Dive Oahu is not safe for the tourism. I worked for Star Beach boys and can tell you personally they were in the best interest of the safety of the tourist.

Man, no body wants corperate looking employees making a vacation feel like its staged. Hawaii is beautiful, relaxing, laid back. I’ll go to Disneyland if i want the “fake” feeling. Dive Oahu I was a fan, not anymore. Letting greed kill your Aloha.

The beach boys deserve all the diginity, rights, and cultural background to be local providers of that waikiki spot. In order for a millennial like me to share a rich cultural history of Hawaii to my friends/family from all over the world, I would have to be assured that The Beach Boys are still in Waikiki otherwise I would not recommend it unless there is a rich history/culture context like the Beach Boys. I would definetely take the business somewhere else. Local compaines without rich local culture and history is not what anyone that I know wants from anywhere around the world. People spend their lifetime to come and vacation in Hawaii and 100% of them want to experience real local things like the beach boys.

This saddens me greatly. Just because you are allowed to do something doesn’t mean you should. The city should never have let this happen.
