Many of my Hanai uncles were the original Beach Boys, Rabbit Kehai, Blackie, Blue, Coco, Maltbie Napoleon.... this tradition cannot die, we need The Beach Boys for Waikiki beaches, they make Waikiki.

This breaks my heart. How can business owners be so heartless and insensitive to other peoples way of life? My Papa “Iggy” Kaeo was a beach boy, so I basically grew up in Waikiki all of my life. To see all of that gone because someone wants to make money off of stolen lands makes me sick. I hope they do not win.

My grandfather was an original Hawaiian beachboy. The Beach Boys mentioned in this are my ohana. And I believe they should remain on the shores of Waikiki. ‘A’ole Dive shops

Only the locals know how to take care of their beach. It's true for anywhere. They look out for they're beach, it's people and have done so for their whole lives. Waterfront safety and surf lessons should be and forever be controlled by your local beach boys.

As a young Hoale kid and while my mom went to University of Hawai’i, I grew up surfing and living the beach life from Walls to Kaiser’s. The original beach boys would always look after me and I always tourists to use their services (I was a natural salesman). This is a culture that can’t die otherwise visiting “proper” Hawai’i will die forever. Don’t kill off traditions that have been going on since Hawaiians started surfing in the early 1900’s.
