This is another in a string of permiting debacles this administration is responsible for allowing. What is going on? There are rules and regulations within the permiting process that should not allow this, let alons my support for the Beach Boy culture, and Aloha spirit of Waikiki.

This is a total disgrace. My father Aki is one of the last original Waikiki Beach boys and to see this about to happen to us together as ohana down here completely breaks my heart and soul. Mahalo to everyone who is supporting us and for signing this petition.

Don't fix something that doesn't need fixing. They have been respectful to locals, visitors, etc. so why did you need to change it? Transparency is key.

The City needs to do the right thing and follow the right process! Don't let this beloved culture die. Waikiki can feel lost to locals in so many ways, but keep this part of Hawaii alive!

Don’t let The Beach Boys culture die. I love them. They are always friendly and fun and really take care of the people who want to go surf and be on the beach.

Authenticity and the Hawaiian Culture are synonymous. It's shocking how people from other places come to Hawai'i and see dollar signs.
