My uncle, Frederick "Kowboy" Rosa was one of the original beach boys. We cannot let this special part of our Hawaiian culture to come to an end.

Another ridiculous idea. Trying to take what has been a working tradition and turn it into commercial mess. Nothing sacred in Hawaii anymore. Corporate take over of, surfing. Really?!

Come on? No beach boys on Waikiki. What a waste of time. Lets spend time and money on things that really matter (illegal rentals and illegal squatters above Royal Kunia) I could go on and on about the sorry state of Hawaii's government.

I smell a lawsuit waiting to happen. Do they know the channels, the currents, or the black hole.. and they are going to teach visitors to surf when they don’t know the breaks? These new guys have all the certifications in order? Auwe

People want to see authentic Hawaiian culture, the Beachboy tradition, & lifestyle at Waikiki Beach where surfing began.
The Waikiki Beachboys are a personification of the magic of Waikiki for the over seven million tourists that arrive yearly.
