I’ve been working on the beach now for the past two years. I started with Uncle Sam with surfrider spirit sessions and now working at faith surf school. Both Hawaiian oceans and Star beach boys are a essential role in the sufront community downtown and canoes and queens. It would be a shamed to see these amazing instructors but more importantly amazing people lose what they love. And the people they are losing it to don’t want the job for the passion but for the money and for the money alone. The Beach Boys are the ambassadors of aloha, how are poeple who have been here for less than two years know what aloha even is? Most of these beach boys have been doing this for their whole lives and they love it. Because at the end of the day for them it’s not about the money but about spreading the aloha and stoke of Waikiki to all of our visitors.

My father, one of the original Beach Boys, raised us to be proud of our heritage and culture. You are taking away a culture by letting this happen. The chicken of Ernest "Mud" Werner stand behind the Beach Boys. #aolediveoahu
