The Beach Boy culture is what makes our Waikiki beaches unique and true to olden day tradition. The authenticity of what The Beach Boys do is a lifestyle that cannot be duplicated, and an inexperienced dive shop will never be able to offer what The Beach Boys have brought to our tourist and kama’aina in years past.

The city allowed this to happen... to make a quick buck ?! So sad. I hope it turns out in The Beach Boys Favor ❤️⭐️

Why can't it just be the way it is? Why is there change? Without the Beach Boys Waikiki wouldn't be the same. It's like when they got rid of the Interntional Market Place, Waikiki it's not the same. Just leave it the way it is no need the Disneyland bs. Just the uncle's showing the tourist how to have fun. They have to think who is keeping Waikiki going and serving all the tourist us locals so how about they start listening to the locals and leave it the way it is!!!! Wally

Obviously people are concerned enough for this to cause an outrage. Hawaiians have held the beachboy service for more than a century with high regard, and it is part of their modern culture. No one is more qualified, and ultimately thats what the customers want... Local Hawaiians teaching surfing, and sharing their culture. This contract was a low blow to the existing businesses and the local people. This contract award is wrong in so many ways. Lets make this right, and set guidlines so this never happens again.

The magic of Waikiki will be without the Beachboys and once that is gone the mana and culture of that area will be gone forever. Please do not let this happen. The mana of pass Beachboys are still at Waikiki riding the surf along side with Duke. The future depends on us to carry on the legacy. No more greediness by corporate companies. Mahalo!!!!
