Donovan Tapping has been refused his permanent right to remain because he ticked a box claiming that South Africa is a predominantly English speaking country.

The UK government say this is false.

He also did not do an English language test , because he was never advised to. He did pass a English life test.

People can always say nice things but he is genuinely a stand up guy that this country should be proud to have. He works incrediblely hard, and is part of one of the best marriages I have seen.

His wife Shelley wants to follow her husband if he goes, but her friends fear she is to poorly due to health issues that are only now being addressed after a prolonged period. Don has been her emotional and financial rock during this.

Don is more than my friend. He is my family. And this is living grieve and hell.

Surely there can be a way to fix this without devastation and heartbreak.

We have 9 working days ( june 20th) .

Please help us

Thankyou

Keep Don in the UK. He works hard and pays taxes. Why break up a good marriage over a language test mixup?

this is absolutely ridiculous. he is a hardworking member of our community and leaving his wife alone while she is sick is just cruel. leave them alone.

Absolutely insane. Don is a great guy and has been a rock for Shelley. Send him back for a box ticking error? Shame on the home office.

Common sense needs to prevail here. Let him stay.
