Audit this program for the 4634 participants. They deserve answers not cuts!!!

My cousin has special needs.

Waiver is my lifeline , please listen. This is going to affect so many people . There are too many questions unanswered.

Will the State of West Virginia be held accountable if recipients of ID/D Waiver die due to lack of care? Is the State prepared to take on the even higher unemployment rate these cuts will cause? Is the West Virginia Government prepared to start paying out the astronomical amounts of services such as Food Stamps,LIEAP, etc....that so many will have no choice but to apply for? Is the Federal Government prepared to start paying out those SSI checks that many families do not qualify for because the family is a working family and is not eligible to receive SSI benefits because they are over the income guidelines? ID/D Waiver is the only benefit many families receive which helps them care for and provide a safe comfortable home for their disabled family members and it gets them the care and equipment they need to excel and remain healthy.It is absurd that they feel cutting this program is a better option!! Rebuilding institutions and shipping critical care people out of state to Nursing Homes is not the answer! I am ashamed of our Governor and our State officials for allowing this to happen! An audit must be done! The DHHR holds us accountable and we must hold them just as accountable for the funds required to make the ID/D Waiver program work!

Please don't cut my life line. Without these services we can't financially take care of our medically fragile son in our home. This in turn will cost more since he requires 24/7 constant nursing level of care.

The guys I provide respite services for have already both been institutionalized. They both have severe medical conditions due to that incarceration, and they deserve to be a part of their community by living at home, attending a daily program, and by immersing themselves into the community through other means. They also deserve to spend time apart from one another as their limitations and needs differ greatly.

This important program impacts so many families and allows disabled individuals to be cared for in their homes and in their own communities. Please consider both the financial impact on the state budget if these individuals were to be put in institutions and the impact on our communities if we were to lose the contributions of these amazing people.

My son Joey Mynes has CP,sezure disorder,can't walk,talk,or communicate in any way he has to have total care 24 hrs a day he also has a trach and a Gtube he and his family reley on waiver daily and we will lose everything if these waiver cuts go through.My husband already works 60-70 hrs a week to make up for me not being able to work a outside job like i did before Joey was born.

Please do not cut our lifeline! My son means the world to me!

I disagree with how my niece is being treated by a state that bends over backwards to help junkies and people who refuse to work, yet have nice cars, wears designer clothes and eats like kings! All the while you want to take away from the disabled! SHAME ON YOU! Quit enabling the junkies and help those who can't help themselves!
