Don't Cut Our Lifeline! WV

I have family disabled as well as I work with Special needs students. Most of the people I know will never be able to work or take care of themselves. You should be ashamed of yourselves for wanting to do this. Why not cut your salaries if the budget is depleted?

My son needs his waiver services please do not cut his lifeline. He lives in his own home and needs 24/7 care.

These cuts violate the civil rights of West Virginia's most vulnerable citizens.

Don't take the life line from who need it most!

These decisions will devastate the families that need it the most!!

It takes a community! Don't cut funding to those who may have no other alternative!

Please take care of those that can't take care of themselves and depend on family, friends

My adopted grandson has special needs. My daughter has fought with the Board of Education for his right to be taught appropriately from the first day He was put in school @ age 3. He is 9 years old now & she is still fighting.

Stop this insanity and do an audit

I cannot stress enough the importance of not making cuts to this program. I work as a service coordinator for Individuals with disabilities and see everyday what the access to these programs and assistance means to them, their families, and their communities. Stop and think. Do the right thing, there are so many other ways to fix this!

I work with disabled lady who has been devastated by Waiver who has tried to force her into having a roommate..since then, her health has been at stake. She's had panic attacks, stomach problems & headaches, and been to ER thinking she was having heart attack..she's 60 & only wants to live a normal life & be independent as she possibly can..Isn't that what Waiver is supposed to make possible for these people? Why should someone see no choice but to live the remainder of their life independent, not be forced into living with someone they don't want......

Terrible place to cut from the people who need it most

Please do not make changes to Title XIX Waiver that will severely affect my 43 year daughter, who functions on a one year level and who has always lived at home

This decision will devastate families.

We need to treat all members of society with respect and dignity. They need the support provided by this waiver and so do their family members.

Please don't cut our waiver many families need the funds to support their children with disabilities.

There has to be somewhere else you can cut funds. Give these families a break!

My nephew, Jeremy Clendenin, is profoundly disabled. But he is so precious to our family. He wakes up with a smile on his face everyday. Please think of the lives that you will change and not in a good way.
