This new reduction will impact the lives of so many less fortune people. How could you want to see somebody struggling and not help, however you want to decrease something that's very beneficial for their survival. You want to do something save our communities from this violence and make our neighborhoods safe. People are already struggling to survive and you want to cause further havoc. This new law will directly hurt the health care system.

Some of the greatest people in the world work in long term nursing facilities. They give all they have and more. The reduction of funding would be a tremendous blow to the very environment that we entrust our parents and family members to. This is not an area to cut funding from.

I see everyday how much seniors struggle with the cost of care that is needed for their safety and to cut the Medicaid rate would adversely have a negative impact on seniors. Seniors will be unable to pay the difference between the minimum cost to care for them and they will go to unsafe homes and be unable to care for themselves. Seniors have worked their entire lives and contributed to this state and we want to cut the budget that many of them need for basic care.

Please do not cut Medicaid funding to Seniors. I work at a skilled nursing facility. It would be very detrimental to the care and opportunities afforded to these folks. They have paid their taxes and deserve to receive their benefits. Do not let them be cut or taken away. Thank you!

They just keep cutting the benefits. There won't be any thing left for the people who need help now. Let alone when the next generation comes of age. But we continue to pay into these funds

This reduction will in no way benefit my family that resides in a skilled nursing facility! She has paid all of her life into programs that just continue to get cut. How is a facility suppose to continue to operate and provided quaility care to our loved ones when you continue to strip away the very things that are needed. Could you survive on a 12% pay cut to your household without making significant sacrifice? Providing care to our loved ones is not the area to cut. Try cutting benefits to those that can work but chose not to. We all see them in our neighborhoods driving around in their nice cars, getting their nails done and talking away on their smart phones. How is this right or accepted. Do we strip away the rights of those who dont vote?

We need to provide the eldery good care. They have worked all their lives and in their golden years it is when they need financial help the most. As Americans we need to take care of our elderly.
