You can't say you want to protect the most vulnerable in one speech and then cut funding for services for the most vulnerable in another. There are plenty of other places to make cuts that haven't even been discussed.

Please do not make the Medicaid cuts as proposed. Our elderly in long term care deserve better than that! Please find a way to cut funding for those who have made Medicaid a lifestyle. Thank you!

I have worked in long term care for 25+ years now and I see 1st hand what the nursing homes go through to help the residents on medicaid. There are many places now that wont help these seniors because they have run out of money and can no longer pay. The money does not cover all of the expense. These are people who have worked all of their lives and contributed to the community until they had no more to give. How can the state turn their backs on this. Please don't cut medicaid! These people will have no place to go.
