A lot of people are helpless without Medicaid unless they take advantage of the E.R. Services and end up in debt. Also many seniors families can not afford to take care of them, it's a shame to see what our state government is willing to cut.

Its a shame that our elderly people are given less then criminals in prison, this cut would be devastating to them and the people that care for them

These people already have had enough taken from them we are providing the best care we can with the little money we are given per resident and now you want to cut them even more across the board are you kidding me!!!!!!! Why not cut government pay and pensions down you could save literally trillions of dollars there!!!!! Leave the elderly alone give them their dignity!!

These people already have had enough taken from them we are providing the best care we can with the little money we are given per resident and now you want to cut them even more across the board are you kidding me!!!!!!! Why not cut government pay and pensions down you could save literally trillions of dollars there!!!!! Leave the elderly alone give them their dignity!!

Please keep our seniors safe. I applaud balancing the budget but the percentage is too great....work at finding it among the folks who are selling their link cards for drug money

It is unfortunate that the state cuts funding from those that need it most. Those th add are or nearly at poverty levels to begin with. The state and federal gov. demand a higher standard of quality of care and staff for health care facilities, but how are they going to achieve that with budget cuts in medicaid reimbursement for medicaid recepients.

Stop the Medicaid cuts now! You are hurting all of our senior citizens who've worked hard their entire life. The State of Illinois has some of the toughest rules in the nation that regulate skilled nursing facilities. I operate at 101-bed SNF that is 90 percent Medicaid. It's getting increasingly difficult to provide quality care with the cuts that have already been put into place. If we are forced to close our doors, where will these elderly people go? I'm embarrassed to say that I voted for this governor!

I am an administrator at a SNF in Illinois and with 70% Public Aid population this amount of cuts will affect the care that we are able to provide and impact the quality of life for all the residents that we serve.
