Please show some respect for elderly and don't cut LTC providers.. Who can surviver a 12% cut or $20 per day that they depend upon for survival? There must be a better way, let's start now to find that way. Thanks.

To make such a tremendous cut will be a completely hinder the quality of care provided to the residents of our and all nursing facilities. Lack of staff will decrease the staff morale and again hinder the quality of care provided by residents.

Long term care is expected to constantly do more but with less money.. Long term care should be getting an increase in Medicaid rates to cover the extra expenses we are required to absorb. It is unconscionable to cut long term care medicaid rates.

There are so many other places that our government can cut spending. Our seniors deserve quality care. This should not even be on the table for discussion. Our facilities help our seniors maintain their quality of life, as well as, provide a plan of care to address all their healthcare needs. We provide not only physical, occupational, behavioral and social needs but we provide security and a caring environment to help heal our seniors inside and out while keeping them safe. Please don't take that away from them. It is our generations responsibility to care for our elders. Cutting funds will be catastrophic to the very people we are here to protect. We need to be proud of the state we live in and those who helped build and care for our freedoms. Please do the right thing. Stop the Medicaid cuts to our seniors!!!

The seniors of Illinois are depending on us to provide high quality safe care. Cutting Medicaid by 12.6% would be devasting to the seniors who have built the State of Illinois. Our seniors have supported the State of Illinois their entire lives. We must continue to support them!

A lot of people are helpless without Medicaid unless they take advantage of the E.R. Services and end up in debt. Also many seniors families can not afford to take care of them, it's a shame to see what our state government is willing to cut.
