This proposed cut to funding impacts not only seniors who have paid taxes for decades but also younger adults with severe disabilities living in facilities or at home with caregivers.
Please do your jobs and deal with the pension and other issues without hurting the most vulnerable in our society. This is just plain wrong!!!

I work for a nursing home company and apply medical benefit for our residents. Our company is one of a few companies in northern Illinois which accepts many medicaid resident. Without this source of funding, we would have to turn away residents and they need to be in the nursing home. thank you
