Many seniors and single heads of household would be jeopardized if medicaid is cut. Please reconsider any and all decisions to cut medicaid.

Small business owners cannot take such a drastic hit! The cost to the State is minimal compared to costs maintaining the elderly if facilities are forced to close

Our elderly population will suffer for this at the end of this action.

This isn't just about cutting funding to the state budget. These are real lives we're talking about, as elderly nursing home residents have paid taxes all their lives; worked to raise families; and have helped to build our state

Let's not force nursing homes into bank ruptacy - we do want our streets filled with the homeless who are least capable of caring for themselves Larry van Alstine

I have worked with the Developmentally Disabled in SNF-Ped and ICF-DD settings for more than 35 years. The majority of the individuals I worked with were Medicaid Recipients. Our goal is always to provide quality care to those individuals. Additionally the regulations have changed over the years and those have necessitated services that of course, incur costs. However, the cuts in Medicaid to Nursing Homes will always affect the residents living in my current facilities. Of the 63 individuals I serve, 62 are funded by Medicaid. I don't know how homes like mine can continue to provide care without adequate funding to do so.
