Do not cut Medicaid. Seniors who have worked all of their life in this state and provided to it now need it to help care for them. For the legislature to cut this funding would be a travesty to those who have worked hard to provide for the future to be cast out in their time of old age. All people matter and all need care. With cuts this drastic fewer will be able to provide care to those who need it. It is time to take care of our seniors. Do not cut Medicaid funding for seniors.

It is not fair to continually punish LTC and the services we provide to our growing population of elders.

I understand cuts need to be made but not in the area of care for our neediest and most vulnerable residents in Illinois.

The burden of fund cuts should not be at the cost to our elderly who have paid taxes for decades!

Please don't cut longterm care. Enough resources have been stripped away from the elderly and the select few that have dedicated their lives to care for them. It is beyond disgraceful that we continue to take from those that have given so much to us.

These cuts will force the homes/facilities to work with less staff on duty, fewer outings, and other things that make our facilites stand out as being the best out there.

Budget cuts are neccesary, but these medicaid cuts are too extreme for the welfare of our seniors.

Please do not cut Medicaid for our seniors in nursing home. Most of them have no family and no where to go. We the nursing home staff are the only family most of them have. Please reconsider your decision and find cuts in other areas, our seniors should not have to suffer.

I strongly disapprove this budget cut. I currently work in a Supportive Living facility and I can not even fathom how this will negatively effect a large portion of my tenancy. The people it will effect are people that will NOT be able to care for themselves at home in turn sending them to a nursing home which will eventually cost the state more money. Please DO NOT pass this budget cut.

These cuts are wrong!! The state should be ashamed. We already have the 2nd lowest Medicaid rates in the country; and you want to cut more? Shame on anyone that would even consider this!

Long term care is at 2007 funding levels now. We cannot sustain a cut of this magnitude without compromising care for our residents.
