Our most vulnerable citizens need all the help we can give them. As an employee of a Nursing Home in Illinois, I see on a daily basis how hard our staff works to give our Residents the best "home life" we can and I also see too often how it is getting increasingly difficult to give that great quality home life with costs continuing to rise. To cut funding as being proposed is nothing short of shameful. Our seniors should be able to know that they will be able to get good equipment and care and that their nursing homes will not be forced to close due to lack of funding. Please reconsider this.

Don't rake money away from the Seniors that helped build this country. Take it away from those who won't do anything to earn a dollar and want a hand out. What is happening to our country? This is ridiculous when some are already having to choose between electric or medication!!!

Please do not cut Medicaid to IL nursing home residents. Many nursing homes have mostly residents on Medicaid. Care will suffer.

We love our seniors and disabled, they need funds to simply live, yet live at peace with decent shelter, food and supplies/care. Please don't take their much needed funds!!! They paid their taxes, now it's their time to rest.

Medicaid is so needed by the elderly in this state. Do not punish the elderly who paid taxes and were good citizens in the state of Illinois during their active years. This is not a thrifty budget cut. This is a heartless one. The elderly are not part of a big corporation, where cuts are routinely done in low level workers jobs. These are the parents and grandparents of this state. For shame if you balance your budget in such a cruel way.
