I feel that it is a great shame on their The half that they have not taken any consideration for the best interest for their loyal customers. This will seriously disturb the workings of local enterprise who need to deposit cash, often large quantities, and it in a safe place at the end of each day. Local customers of the National Westminster bank will be forced to travel as far as Northwich or Chester to do with banking matters. This will potentially hit those more needy people who are not computer literate and therefore cannot back online. Apart from this many people find banking online and in secure method of dealing with them money. I Will resign all of my accounts from The National Westminster bank if they go ahead with this closure.

I live in Tarporley and have a business in Middlewich. This closure follows those of Middlewich and Holmes Chapel and the conversion of other local branches to a DIY service. As a result we use Tarporley more than ever before. Nat West is leaving us with nowhere to pay cash or cheques in. Even our relationship manger admits they've had a huge number of complaints but are powerless to do anything. It's ridiculous.

I have only I month ago opened an account with the Nat West as I am going to live in Tarporley. This was the sole reason for doing so.

I use this branch every week so it would be very inconvenient for me if it closed. It's very rare that I haven't had to wait for at least one other person to complete their transactions. So it is being used. Tarporley is growing so there is potential to increase business. Are we sure it is being closed? I cannot find anything from NatWest itself to say so, and they haven't written to me about it. Perhaps they've lost track of their customers? Maybe it's all an arithmetical error?

Tarporley is a Key Service Centre for rural areas and as such maintaining one bank is a community priority.

Whitchurch has closed too. As a business woman I find this a huge inconvenience. Not everything can be done over the phone and I have already been massively defrauded via NatWest online banking and won't do it again!

With the bus route to Chester and Crewe being cut to one a hour it is essential for senior Citizens to keep this branch open

If the bank states 23% reduction in branch transactions since 2011(according to Tarporley News), then 77% are still carried out. Everytime I pass the bank and go into it, it is busy, customers are waiting to be served. Tarporley has 2-300 hundred new homes being built, many other surrounding villages are facing large numbers of new houses, so what is Natwest doing to promote its Tarporley services as there must be more new customers on their doorstep. The last remaining bank has the opportunity to act as a flagship/an anchor to help maintain and enhance the high street business. I have no desire to do online banking. There should be a choice where one lives. Please keep it open

Tarporley has a lot of riterees and now a large influx of new homes. The bank is essentiila to maintain a vibrant community and to remove/prevent fraud particulary with the most vulnerable. Nationwide have a last man standing ethos and will not close if they are in that situation

Whilst i do use the internet banking services of Nat West I still need the local branch for advice some times and also the loss of the bank will mean the loss of the cash machine.

It wasn't that long ago that banks considered themselves to be a service. Now they are simply self-serving. Their profits are used to fund the lavish lifestyles of their senior managers rather than the needs of their customers. Bank managers were once considered to be pillars of their local communities - now the managers of banks are becoming increasingly remote, overpaid and untrustworthy. This is yet more evidence that they simply do not care.

Please can you also add Whitchurch Nat West to this petition. I do Internet banking but still rely on local High Street banks as I'm sure many other people do who do not use Internet. Save our High Streets. Before they dissappear.

It is rediculous to be closing this branch!
