Don't close Natwest in Tarporley

this is a well-used branch; closure makes no sense

I wish to register my objection to the proposed closure of the Nat West Bank in Tarporley.

It is scandalous to close Tarporley with many thriving local businesses and loyal private customers.RBS were happy to be rescued by us tax payers from their own inept practices some 10 years ago.

the bank is essential and they owe it to the local loyal customers...

I opened this business account recently as HSBC had closed and was not told at the time of the closure. With all the businesses locally and local farmers etc we need a bank in Tarporley.

We need the branch open so my Mum can get cash to live on. She can't use an ATM or chip & pin.

My business generates a lot of cash that needs depositing. Where do I go now to deposit thousands every week? This is the final nail in the coffin to add to simply appalling Natwest business services. At least the staff in Tarporley are friendly and eager to help. When corporates no longer serve communities and only their shareholders, it tells us capitalism is no longer working.

What? With all the customers picked up from the HSBC closure AND all the new housing in the area, have NatWest got their bean-counting wrong? What about supporting local (ageing) communities?

We need a bank in tarporley

I am a regular customer at the bank and almost always have to queue because it is so busy. Two cashiers working full pelt to serve people last week. A PR disaster for Nat West.

We need the bank?

With an ageing population it's essential that less tech friendly people are catered for. NAT West needs to be responsible for the whole community, not just it's shareholders

All these houses being built, and no banks left in the village! What is happening?

There is a generation of people in this country to whom we owe a lot - and for the majority of them, talk of 'going digital' or online is just laughable. Also, Tarporley is a vibrant and strong community - it would be so easy for the NatWest, as the sole bank in the village, to capture the local imagination and become a shining light of what it really means to be a local bank in the 21st century. There are many village organisations just ready and willing to facilitate that.

As a user if this branch for over 30 years I can testify how busy it is - even more so now it is the only bank left. It is important to the village and without it there is no need to stay with this Bank.

Nearest branch for miles, my mother uses it all the time DO NOT CLOSE IT

We all know why their doing it but the question of money and costs sometimes has to come second to customer service.

PLEASE KEEP NATWEST BANK IN TARPORLEY OPEN!!

You should leave the bank open due to it being the only bank in tarporley. If the bank closes then the local community will have to travel a long way if they need to pop into the bank. Natwast has been a part of Tarporley high streets for many many years and it should stay open for many many more years to come
