We need a bank in Tarporley, there are an increasing number of residents. Don't take everything away. We are a town and our town needs NatWest.

Please consider keeping this branch open for everyone who can't drive, for businesses, people who are busy...the village is expanding at a rate of knots and this is the last bank. Not everyone can manage travel or online banking.

I predominantly do all my banking online but some situations do arise when you need to see/speak to someone face to face. I feel the commercial gain of the banks is overshadowing the need and benefit of the local facilities.

If nat west closes there will be no banking facility in the village. It's imperative that we nurture our villages. We have seen many closures in Tarporley recently which is such a shame. Not everyone has access to on line banking especially the elderly which tarporley has a high number of, this would potentially mean a trip in to Chester. - Ridiculous

Tarporley bank is a used and valued bank for many who live in and around the surrounding areas of Tarporley.

We do all our business banking via the branch. Driving to Chester will be a royal pain in the backside. More importantly, the impact on the elderly & those who don't like Internet banking will be acute.

Short sighted action by Nat West. Not everyone wants or is able to use online banking.

The village gets bigger - the facilities get fewer. The bank is always busy. We will have to travel miles to do business. Poor service Nat West.

With new housing and ever-growing numbers of businesses in Tarporley, the only remaining bank is a vital asset to the community .

We are a small retail business and rely heavily on the counter service from a bank. For much of the year the value of our cash takings exceed our card takings. At peak periods we rely on the bank for change. Looking at my bank charges I can not understand how Tarporley branch of the NatWest bank can not be viable.

Whilst understanding the impact of online banking, Tarporley is a Key Service Centre for the rural economy and community requiring some physical presence by at least one bank.
