Future generations from the whole region will suffer if this facility isn't saved.

This is a valuable outdoor learning experience for children. Been many times with classes and it provides opportunities for some children that they will now never experience

Sports for young people are already incredibly limited for young people in school this will only make it worse

Needs saving .... there's little enough for them in the area as it is

I went here as a child. It would be a huge loss to Dumfries & Galloway if they closed it. Even more so since they closed Stranord last year.

This resource is extremely important in enabling our children to have a full, well rounded educational experience within their school curriculum. We should be expanding these opportunities not cutting them.

Loved going here when I was at primary and gutted my sister won’t get a chance to experience the activities at carlinwark and make memories that will last a life time as my mum went here as a child also .

It’s a disgrace closing this facility!!!!! This is amazing facility which all kids in our region love !!! As a 40 year old adult I still have memories of staying over !!! Kids whom maybe not academic as others come to this facility and it gives them a chance to be good at something other than school work!!! The council needs to get new members whom are going to fight to make Dumfries a better place rather than turning it into a ghost town with no facilities for our children !!!!

Why do they come up with these awful decisions is it just an easy target. Try thinking a bit harder and save money elsewhere.

Why should our children suffer because of the incompetence of this council wasting thousands on bad decisions what we need is a new council.

This would not be a good idea. I don’t think I need to tell you why. But think of the kids / adults / families/ tourists that live or visit around this area. We don’t have an awful lot else in Dumfries and Surrounding areas. So don’t take any more away.
