My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed the two trips she has had with these guys. She even went on her first ever sleep over there which was a very out of character for her. It helped her confidence no end. Such a waste if it has to close.

This is a valuable resource for school children to help increase their confidence in a group setting. Both my kids have been here and enjoyed it immensely. I saw a huge increase in their confidence and they have made memories to last a lifetime. It’s a travesty to close Carlingwark down, especially since Stranord is no longer running...which is where I went in P7 and still have wonderful memories of it! Please think again, there must be somewhere else from which money can be saved!!!

Never under estimate the value of outdoor ed - the skills, the confidence, the team working, respect of nature and the outdoors. All vital for tomorrow's adults.
