This is such a fantastic opportunity or children to gain experiences that they may not have again. It helps build resilience too!

I really hope this doesn’t close. Went here as a child on a school trip & loved it.

I see how much experiences like Carlingwark Education do to improve the perseverance, resilience and confidence of our young people. It would be a travesty to lose this local experience.

Would be a massive loss to the children of our area to lose this fantastic facility

A valuable resource that encourages children to enjoy the outdoors in this digital age. A lot of children will now never have these experiences - a tragedy.

Seems everything is closing but the supervisors paychecks & bonuses, sad state of affairs that the council is top heavy with too many chiefs, not enough Indians and now closing all teepees so they can continue to collect their paycheck.

Myself and my husband went here with the school back in the day and in January there our eldest daughter went with her school. Be a shame if our other daughters miss out on this experience ☹️

I am a teacher in Dumfries & Galloway and the provision by Outdoor Education has been outstanding. Our students have benefited from this over a number of years and to see it ceasing to exist would be scandalous in a rural area like ours.
