I am currently compiling the petition signatures into a formal document to be delivered to the Minister of Service Alberta. A cover letter outlining our request to maintain the current plate design is being drafted now. I will provide a summary of the government response once the submission is officially acknowledged.

There is no need to change our license plates, especially rally if it is to align with one political parties platform. Its nonsense!
We need money for health care, teachers etc. Not to waste money on license plates
Wasting more money while engaging in a dispute with the teacher’s union is typical of this government. For shame!
Stop messing with our plates and focus on fixing the economy instead. Nobody asked for this change and it feels like a total waste of taxpayer cash.
KEEP THE OLD SLOGAN !! THE WILD ROSE IS ALBERTA'S OFFICIAL FLOWER !! I also think eliminating the Wild Rose is politically motivated. I don't see any other province that has the government website on their plates and there's only 1 United States license plate that has a government website on their plates. Griffiths is so full of you know what, his eyes are brown..
Ok, I like the old slogan, but the new plate thing actually looks sick!
This is not necessary . Use funds for something else more usefull

Keep "Wild Rose Country" - the other is offensive to those that think it is linking the new "Strong and Free" slogan to the UCP brand PLUS its implied message of possible separation from Canada.
