"Don't Be That Guy - a behavioural marketing campaign sends the message that sex without consent is sexual assault. We are sending a visual message to men between the ages of 18 and 25, graphically demonstrating their role in ending alcohol facilitated sexual assaults. Don't Be That Guy shifts the emphasis to men to take responsibility for their behaviour..." -The Violence Stops Here

By taking part in the Don't Be That Guy campaign - a campaign to help make West Chester a safer place - these places of business agree to keep the posters given to them up from August-January in an area where it can be seen. If they refuse to participate, not only are they losing valuable customers but they are publicly refusing to represent safety in the aspect of sexual assault. The following bars/restaurants include... -Barnaby's

-Kildare's

-Landmark

-Jake's

-Mas

-Side Bar

-Ram's Head

-Iron Hill

-Alibis

The following signatures are customers who will refuse to participate in business if the establishments above refuse to participate in the Don't Be That Guy campaign

I was looking at the list of places again and honestly the momentum feels so much more real than when I started this from my laptop on a whim. It is wild to think about how many of you are actually ready to walk away from these bars if they keep ignoring the safety of the community because it makes me feel like we might actually get someone to listen.

Finally someone is calling these places out. It is ridiculous that a bar wouldn't want to help keep women safe. I wont be going to any of these spots until they get with the program.

About time. Alcohol is not an excuse for being a predator. Any owner refusing to put up a poster is part of the problem.

Seriously? Just put the poster up. It is not that hard to promote basic safety and respect.
