Please do not stop this vital service. Going to Rosslare for over 30 years and regularly use the train. Service should be improved not scrapped.

Madness to close the line. ..the complete opposite should happen with much investment.

I totally agree with the writers
Comments. I have thought it ludicrous that the train also does not run around the ferry terminal at the port also. This service needs to be upgraded not cancelled altogether.

I use this train line all the time. It's usually packed at the weekends when going to and from Dublin. It makes no sense to axe it.
Change the train times to arrive in conjunction with the ferries and reduce the service in the middle of the day if you have to - but just outright cancelling it altogether makes no sense!!!

Please do not close this line. It is a vital link for the east coast. It should be better managed and scheduled by Irish Rail to ensure it meets the needs of passengers.

A Europort with no public transport? Yes, it's served by carferries, but the majority of passengers are not carried in cars, they walk on, and when they get off - what? Hitch to their destination? Hitching a lift is no longer an option, but what will these passengers do? Ah, I know! They will spread the word through the social media that Ireland is only car friendly, and if you want to see the countryside.......go online and look at pictures, don't go there.

One of the most scenic journeys In Europe by train !!! Why unearth would such a decision be even considered is beyond comprehension . Don't axe this service which Is vital to many people with certain disabilities who are unable to travel by bus because they don't provide many facilities nneeded for the long journey to and from hospital appointments !These are just 2 factors so many more !!!!!!!!!!!!

Please word to retain and strengthen this rail service, and Rosslare Europort. The port and village are looking sad and neglected but the will soon provide a vital link with France & Europe when the effects of Brexit start to kick in. I feel Europe would provide funding assistance because it's the only direct link we will have to the continent.
