Hi, I am appalled too think that the Wex/Dub train service could be discontinued for all the reasons above but also...because I have a son attending UCD at the moment who uses a wheelchair and depends on the train service as at this moment in time there is NO bus he can use !!! We have to drive him when the train times don't suit as non of the bus stops between Wex and Dublin are wheelchair friendly . Without this train service my son is TOTALLY dependent on his family to get him to and from college !!! This is completely ludicrous in this day and age !!! Keep the train line and increase the number of runs daily !!!!

I would be absolutely devastated if they stopped the train coming to Rosslare-I know a lot who rely on it. Maybe if they reduced the fare more people would use it instead of the bus

We need trains that run with the ferry and can promote south East tourism it would be terrible for Wexford to lose this service. I use this train and would be upset to see it go.

I can't believe the want to cut Wexford off Rosslare a holiday resort and Rosslare Harbour the gate way to Europe. Irish rail need to re think this the will destroy tourism which is a big employer in these areas.

The train to Wexford and Rosslare is a priceless piece of infrastructure. Don't close it....t would be a disaster for tourism and for Wexford county.

We need Wexford train for tourism, for Wexford people to commute to jobs not available in Wexford. For enhancing infrastructure by encouraging commuters and business to move to Wexford.

Another example of a service being let run down so that it can eventually be taken over by private interests - they'll buy it for a song and then taxpayers' money will be used to fund it with any profits going offshore. This is a planned and cynical attack on our social structure so that the usual suspects, aided and abetted by cronies in government, can make a quick killing.

It beggars belief that the trains don't service the ferries. I remember when the 'boat' trains came in and out to the pier and they used to be packed and the port was buzzing with activity. What is wrong with the Wexford TD's that they aren't up in arms about the disgraceful downgrading of the port. Brendan Howlin and Mick Wallace DO SOMETHING for your own county.

It is vital to maintain this service...oh and actually have it service the boats with regard to arrivals and departures.

In the age we live in, to kill off public transport, when global warming is seeing off 67% of species since 1970, to limit the travel needs of those who don't or can't drive is unfair. This train line, one of the most scenic in Europe is well used and with increased marketing and a more user friendly timetable could be the jewel in the crown of Ireland's public transport system, for commuters, tourists, pensioners - indeed all of us. Save this vital service.
