Don't axe the Wexford (Gorey-Rosslare) train- save and improve it instead!

Encourage more people to use the train link it up with the boat etc theres more to be gained than lost with keeping the train going !!

I regularly use the train from Gorey and find it v comfortable for travelling to Dublin. It's v disapointing. for ferry passengers that the times from Rosslare Eurosport don't coincide with ferry arrivals.

Save the train. Invest in the line and infrastructure - the next thing to close will be the port of Rosslare if we don't act now.

To be honest in this day n age it's ridiculous to even contemplate that not only is it just quite obviously a very stupid idea the consequences is have for our Europort will be catasrophic.

The South East is the closest point to France and mainland Europe. Rosslare Europort is a key national asset. It must remain properly connected to the railway network.

As a regular visitor to Ireland from south Wales I value the active travel by train, ferry, train, so please keep the line open and connections between our countries easier.

Closing the Wexford line, which has so much untapped potential, would be an admission of incompetence by senior management in Iarnród Éireann. Anything less than outright condemnation of the reported plan to close the line would suggest a similar level of incompetence in local and national politicians, and a reckless disregard for the people of Wexford.

This is a life line for Wexford. Expand the service don't close it. Catch the Rosslare ferries, Have more food on the line. Maybe even a Cafe carriage.

The most beautiful coastline train journey in the country! It would be a travesty to lose it. County Wexford needs this service!

The train is vital to Wexford, to Rosslare and to the hinterland. It is also vital to the opera festival, especially for many UK visitors who fly to Dublin.

Just because it is not theost used rail line, if rosslare port was developed properly it could be a great rail link..

Historical mismanagement of this vital transport infrastructure has degraded services at Rosslare Europort and threatened its closure. A major policy turnaround is needed now.
