Don't axe the Wexford (Gorey-Rosslare) train- save and improve it instead!

Save our Wexford train service

It's such a beautiful journey and a lifeline for many people in their commute.

Improve the Dublin to Rosslare Harbour line e.g. to meet the boat time-tables. This will be more important post Brexit.

Too much of Irelands railway heritage has been consigned to history in favour of roads. Stop the rot, save what's left of our rail system.

Living in Rosslare we depend on this train service for our families and our local livelihood.

This service is needed

We are supposed to be encouraging use of public transport. Upgrade the line so that it would be faster by rail than by road. Ferry and train times need to be aligned.

Reform not close. Better time table. Fast train to dublin

Non-drivers need transportation. I would use the train a lot more even though it's more expensive, but the times just don't sync up for me.

Please don't axe the Gorey to Rosslare train.

If the country is serious about reducing greenhouse gases and traffic congestion, road safety and creating a healthy living environment, then it should be road traffic being reduced and not rail.

Don't abolish it. Make it better.

Transport is a disgrace in Wexford you need to be improving it

We need the train service here in Rosslare.

The service is needed, it should not be cancelled.

I think it should have more trains not none

Please do not change the train schy

I live and work in Rosslare Strand and cancelling this service will cause our holiday village to loose visitors and causing businesses to close. The travel prices have dbled in only a few yrs causing people not to use the service and now they feel justified in cancelling the service. The prices need to be revised and the line improved! Enniscorthy, Wexford town, Rosslare Strand and The Harbour won't recover if this goes ahead :-(
