Don't axe the Wexford (Gorey-Rosslare) train- save and improve it instead!

The Dublin/Rosslare rail line has been neglected for many years and our local politicans have to take a lot of the blame. Where else would one find a major ferry port without a proper rail link to the capital city.

We have already lost the Waterford rail link. Wexford one of the biggest counties In Ireland ,they should be adding extra services. Dreadful!

The monopoly of the europort, and access to same, by Iarnrod Eireann must come to a halt. It's a thundering disgrace that the gate way to Irelands Ancient East appears, to the tourist as if it's closed for business. The whole village is being let run down, with closed up hotels, boarded up public buildings etc.
time the port was taken out of the hands of C I E and allowed to grow thus allowing for more employment in the area, plus a boost for train travellers.

Where I live there are only2 busses a week....Wexford needs to declare independence...as we get nothing from Dublin

As a vision impaired user of the service, I find it absolutely disgusting that the government is causing me more isolation by threatening to cut this service! They have already stopped bus services between Enniscorthy and Waterford, again because they were not making a profit due to running at ridiculous times If I were to get a job in new Ross, I would simply have to relocate. There is no point in offering people a free travel bus pass if there are no services available. I certainly would not mind paying a certain amount towards a service if it were run at suitable times Services should not be being cut, they should be being increased! Please inform me of any public meetings are taking place and ironically let me know if there is any transport to them

Think of the customer needs , its rediculous not to have train from Rosslare to Waterford used to use it all the time coming off ferry

A national treasure of an asset ignored and run into the ground. Rosslare port currently looks a shambles with trains leaving from a mile away before boats arrive. A joke.
