Put in double tracks it would cut travel time in half as a result more people would use it

With Brexit on the way, investment is needed not closure. Remember Rosslare Harbour was deemed the gateway to Europe at one stage.

Dublin is not the whole of Ireland. It seems like it as the rest of Ireland is forgotten about especially the south east counties.

Please keep this very valuable train line. Not only is is needed by locals but also a wonderful tourist attraction. The views as one travels on it are very appealing to tourists.

Train times need to be studied seriously for ferry times in rosslare and for other rail connections in dublin.....no wonder trains are not full enought and deemed at loss.

Improved service means more users. Transport is a public service and needs to be funded, it is never going to make profits but improves everybodies'lives

I couldn't believe it when the times were amended to conflict with the ferry; it is sabotage and totally crazy. Get your act together; the track is there and Ireland is so great to explore by train but a lot of sense needs to be applied instead of bailing out.

This line has so much potential, not only for its tourism but also as a key hub in the national transport network. The town of Wexford deserves a decent railway service, and it is a scandal that rail services have avoided connecting with ferries for years.

Would be lost without this service as I am disabled and have to travel to Dublin regularly for hospital appointments

This a vital rail-link to Wexford that is scenic and relaxing for commuters/students like myself which the buses can't provide

With the Paris Agreement re climate change, it seems paradoxical (if not ironic) to reduce/remove public transport, which only forces more cars on to the road. Too few options exist for the non-driving public - and for those concerned to reduce the number of vehicles on our roads....

If the powers that be would only realise that improving rail and bus services would both reduce carbon emissions and reduce the pressure that the big cities are feeling in terms of finding places for people to live, this country would be far better off. Closing the train lines is only going to force more people to move closer to Dublin so they can go to their jobs.
