As a Wingate resident and someone who travels this stretch of West Markham daily, I am very concerned about safety and strongly oppose this development.

I am absolutely opposed to the development of the property across the street from Brady Elementary School. This is already an extremely high traffic area, and such a development would only add to the congestion here.

this proposed development would create a bottleneck for those trying to enter or exit; as well as posing a safety hazard for students at Brady School.

I live in Wingate and I strongly oppose this development. It will endanger the safety of the students and staff members of Brady Elementary. Even with the current blinking light school zone signs, many, if not most drivers ignore the speed limit in front of the school. Any student attending Brady who walks to/from school from the north side of Markham to the west of the present cross-walk will have to walk in front of the proposed development's entrance. These students include, but are not limited to residents of the Markham Oaks Apartments, which has 52 units, many with elementary age children.

This development is directly across from a very busy public school, with tremendous congestion already. The configuration of the units appears much too dense for safe vehicular traffic, and relies on access to other property for proper spacing.
