I am floored that ANYONE would so much as even consider that this is acceptable! Shame on you Village Of Oak Lawn! Kudo's to the students for standing up for what they believe!!! You kids rock! Damn shame the adults think using animals for this type of entertainment is the right thing to do! SMFH!

Donkeys are kind and gentle animals, they are not meant to wear slippery socks on their hooves while adults beat them, kick them and shove them for so called entertainment. A donkey's spine is meant to carry 25% of his or her body weight, that means a 400 pound donkey shall only carry 100 pounds of weight. Please reconsider this appalling game. Donkeys become very fearful when they are around loud noises such as a "basketball" game, and have been known to run into the bleachers or try to run through doors to get away from their abusers. This is not a family fun event, this is cruel and inhumane treatment of animals.
