Donkey's are loving, very intelligent animals & they should NEVER be abused in any way for the entertainment of people!!! This donkey basketball game is so wrong!!

As a long-time owner of some very precious donkeys and knowing their very sensitive personalities, I find this type of 'fundraiser' appalling. I agree with all concerns raised. Also duly noted -- this sets a horrible example for our kids!! Mistreatment of animals is never acceptable or 'okay!'

It's 2016. Time to evolve and stop using animals however we feel like it. They're not here for humans to use and abuse for entertainment. Find a different way to raise money, for crying out loud. I can't believe I have to sign a petition for this.

Why is everyone tripping, no one cares about kids with the downs. They wouldn't even know what's going on! They should make '' downs ball'' a game in the special Olympics let's be honest. They'd be a little hard to control.. But for a good cause

It's shocking that antiquated attitudes towards animal abuse still exist. Please find a better and kinder way to raise money. These poor animals are at our mercy.

I was born and raised in the Chicago area and back in the 70's and 80's we had donkey basketball and it was the most horrible feeling watching those donkeys be hit, kicked, snatched and flat out abused even back then. Now, as the owner of several rescue donkeys and knowing that they are the most loving, devoted, good hearted beings I can't imagine anyone allowing this barbaric act to happen.
