I have been reading through all the stories you are leaving in the comments and it really hits home how much extra time we all spend just fighting for what should be simple recognition. I am spending my evenings drafting letters to the department because they need to understand that all these bureaucratic hoops are just causing more stress for families who are already at their breaking point.

I really never expected to see this kind of energy building up so fast and it honestly feels a bit overwhelming in the best way possible. It is just incredible to see how many people are tired of all the red tape and want things to change right now for these kids (and their families too).

Families are already exhausted. Make it easier for us.
ABOUT TIME. Its a constant struggle and the stress of reapplying is just too much.
Too much red tape. The govt has no idea how much extra work this is for families.
The amount of paperwork we have to fill out is insane when you are just trying to look after your child. Stop making us prove our kids have autism every single year. It is cruel.
Total joke that we have to jump through these hoops. My daughter has autism and that is never going to change so why the constant reviews? Sort it out.

My son has enough challenges in his life without me having to fight the department for basic support. This needs to be automatic and simple for every parent.
