I agree 100% with single sex changing rooms, I would not use any facility that has unisex changing rooms.

Swimming isn't safe for women and girls in Darlington, nurses can't get changed in private... what's wrong with Darlington? Is it run by perverts??

It is now well known that some men can’t be trusted near women and children. Mixed sex changing villages need to be abolished.

Mixed sex toilets are dangerous for women and children. This has been proved time and again. No men in women's changing area.

Safe single space changing rooms for women and young girls are so needed in todays world. When you have mixed changing it discourages young girls and women from partisipating in sporting activities. As a women it makes me feel very uncomfortable having to share changing facilities at the Dolphin Centre in Darlington . I was a weekly user of the Dolphin Centre but since the interduction of the mixed changing rooms , I have ceased to use the facilities . My husband also felt very uncomfortable using the mixed changing rooms as well , we both felt it was a retrograde step by the council that should be corrected. Single sex changing rooms and loos make sense, men and women feel uncomfortable using them. These mixed spaces have allowed easy access for certain members of society to intimidate, degrade and humiliate women and young girls, that you have a moral right to protect. Both Men, Women ,Girls and Boys should be able to change in safety without the pressure of been watched and intimitdated . We need our single sex spaces for privacy , dignity and saftey against abuse.

Changing room village style puts women and girls at risk. They are a safeguarding risk and voyeuristic crimes are more likely. Many organisations recognise this risk. So all changing rooms should be single sex spaces.

I don't live in Darlington but I know what it's like not to have single sex spaces and have to self exclude.

Singles spaces must be protected for the safety and dignity of biological woman. Men and women are very different in so many ways, privacy is necessary for both sexes

I'm not from Darlington, but I stand by all the women and children who live there. Women and children need privacy for their dignity and safety. KEEP MEN OUT.
