my long legged fellow really needs to stretch those legs - and the water gives them the happy distraction of stix, balls and swimming, keeping them far less likely to scuffle!

As an outdoor enthusiast and dog lover who has enjoyed recreating with my canine friends on and off-leash for over 20 years I encourage BI City Council and BI Parks to establish Pritchard Park as an off-leash park. As a responsible dog owner and tax-payer I strongly believe that I have the right for unfettered responsible use of the assets paid for and maintained with tax dollars of all island citizens.

We are becoming too restrictive of animal life. Dogs need to run free some of the time. It's good for their souls as well as their owners.

We need other spaces also. There is a great spot in Grand Forest West - southern most trail that gets little use. Most people head the other direction.
