Let's not make so many rules and restrictions about life on Bainbridge that it becomes literally an extension of Seattle. Keep Bainbridge rural and let the dogs have fun frolicking in the water. Thank yowl.

I agree with the statements herein. I believe that the issue of dogs off-leash is a very emotional one, and that individual isolated incidents are often portrayed out of proportion to their actual effect upon the individuals involved as well as upon the rest of the public.

There are many dogs that love Pritchard beach, and I love taking my dogs there. Dog owners pay taxes too and it would be nice to have shared use. I get that there are many poorly behaved people, poorly behaved dogs and I have also see a few poorly behaved children for that matter… we need to learn to get along. And, we need to pick up our own poop, regardless of the source.

Surely there is a way to divide useage up by the time of day rather than with fencing. So many other municipalities have done this successfully!
