well trained dogs and responsible owners deserve off leash. I'm all for it. I hate these leash laws over here in the states. We don't have them in UK. Hope you get it!!!

It is a great place to let dogs run, but please check before you let your dogs swim in the water as last I heard, the water was still too toxic for swimming and there had been a warning to not let dogs swim in it.

Swimming is my dog's greatest joy, Pritchard Park is huge, it could easily be shared.

Pritchard Park is an important venue for people/pups combos and one of very few places our dogs can run free. I don't want my dog to live at the end of a leash.

I have always enjoyed watching the various dogs romp down at Pritchard even though our own dog can not go as he does not behave well with all dogs. I am all for there being places that dogs can run free and places you can count on dogs being leashed. The new dog park at strawberry is great, but we need more, places where there is water for water loving dogs and places with open sunny grassy areas where you can throw a ball or a frisbee for dogs that need that excercise

I would trust that owners and their dogs will continue to enjoy time to run free not only in Pritchard Park but in other parks on the island during predetermined times; giving equal time and fairness to all those who live here and pay taxes too. These dear friends and animals need places to exercise just like people. I would venture to say that over 98% or even 99.5% of dogs and owners are responsible and do not pose threats as they have been characterized. I hope all of us will be duly considered in a balanced manner in the furture of laws that effect our fury friends.
There seems to be a real deep dog hate by some park officials and some others.

I would love to see a run free area for the dogs of Bainbridge and others. Our dog is old now, but when she was young, she would love to run without a lease and in a safe area. We pay alot of taxes and I would like to see some of that money go to our pets.
