RCW 16.52.205 - this is a class C felony in our state. Nothing less than this should be acceptable. It should be more but that is all WA state can do. POS deserves much worse and should NEVER have another animal under his care ever again or a human for that matter.

This is animal cruelty anyway you look at it! You don’t just shoot a dog a few times and leave it on the side of the road to die! That’s totally not ok! There is way more humane ways to handle the situation! Demented!

No dog deserves to be shot & this is not euthanasia. The added fact that he brutally shot him and left him to suffer should fall under felony abuse and neglect laws, punishable by the maximum penalty & he should not be allowed to own any other animals, ever. A welfare check & removal of Cane/Louie’s female sibling (if she’s still alive in his possession) should be done immediately and X-Rays for any previous injuries, signs of abuse should be put into evidence for all animals this man has been in contact with. He also owes many of us in the community, the veterinarians & WVHS reimbursement for all medical charges, and fines for this crime should be paid in restitution for animal medical & care to WVHS & Cascade Vet Clinic. A very strong message needs to be sent in the form of strong legal justice and sentencing for this irredeemable crime, torture, abuse and neglect.
