It took me about 20 phone calls to get an appointment and the only available one was in 3 weeks time! I eventually went to A&E and after tests was told I'd had a minor stroke a week before. The system is ludicrous. That was 6 months ago and I haven't bothered trying to make a follow up appointment, it's just too stressful.

I have a disability and many other health conditions that come with it. I have so far had very poor treatment and I am left suffering physically and emotionally I believe this is down to how under pressure our town's GPs are. I have lost 2 jobs because of my disability due to poor management of my condition its made my life hardly worth living. Yes, getting an appointment is almost impossible waiting 4-5 weeks is a joke but it also has a knock on long-term effect on people who need ongoing care. It goes much deeper than simply not being able to get an appointment.

I've finally got an appointment next week but have had to wait 4 weeks to get it. Phoning first thing in the morning to be told that all appointments have gone to phone again at half 1 to be told again all appointments gone. Even with my 3 year old, we saw a doctor who miss diagnosed him with him having to suffer for 2 weeks more before my own GP noticed the problem. It is getting dangerous and ridiculous now.

I think some people will die before they get an appointment, the Suffolk health management need to sort this before long.

This system doesn't work if you want an appointment but have a job yourself. I need flexibility in the appointment times available so I don't need to take time off from teaching. The only alternative is to not get treatment or abuse the emergency appointment system.

The situation is getting ridiculous Why they closed the Walk in Centre which the local Labour party campaigned to keep I will never know.

We need a normal appointments system! Sit and wait hours is not good enough!

Feeling depressed at the current situation. Have given up trying although I know I need to see my doctor because of my history. We have contributed to the system and should be able to see our doctor now that we are older.

Appalling service, have to wait weeks before seeing a dr, it seems they prefer you to see a nurse instead but you still have to wait a long time. No wonder A&E are busy!

Something needs to be sorted. Registered for the on line service - no appointments available. Tried telephone booking - no appointments available. No wonder A&E Addenbrookes is so very busy and stretched.
